FREE Chair Yoga Class

Offered at the Public Libraries

Join certified yoga teacher Dawn DiVita, founder and teacher at Yoga DiVita, for this Extra Gentle Chair Yoga Class. It is a style of yoga to help make the practice adaptable for all to begin! This hour is an introduction to the postures, breathing techniques, and meditation or contemplation ON our seat. The postures and exercises are modified to make yoga accessible to people who are experiencing physical limitations - TOTALLY staying on our chair.

In addition to a good stretch, chair yoga participants can also enjoy other health benefits of yoga, including improved muscle tone, better breathing habits, reduction of stress, better sleep, and a sense of well-being. 

Due to flooding, ALL chair yoga classes in September have been cancelled.
